It's our game: Canada to the world
Cowbells clanking, bullhorns honking, partiers singing and high fives clapping, downtown Vancouver saw thousands of people flood the streets and while most of it was good fun, some people got a little carried away, as you'll see in the video of the man jumping onto the crowd below.
After the hockey game as the sun set on Vancouver, cars and shouting were still ringing through the streets. This was common during the last weekend of the Games. The final Saturday night saw revellers partying well into the early morning. In fact, high atop the city in a downtown hotel room, the cheering was heard until about 4 a.m.
Whether it was booze or some other substance, cops were unable to coax this man down and he decided to get off his own way. Luckily for the crowd below, no one was injured and then man was quickly detained by police.
As you'll hear in the video to the right, there was also another common sound at the Olympic street celebrations.
